ScanSign.io – Terms of Service

1. Overview

By using ScanSign.io services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all QR-enabled signs, redirect services, billing cycles, deposits, and administrative tools provided by Business Efficiency Systems and Technologies LLC (“BEST Inc.”), operator of ScanSign.io.

2. Pricing and Subscription

ScanSign.io operates on a monthly subscription model. All sign subscriptions are billed as follows:

All charges are due upon invoice. Failure to remit payment may result in service suspension or cancellation without further notice.

4. Redirect Update Policy

Customers may request destination URL changes via the secure update form provided at the scan page. All update requests require a valid customer passcode and are subject to review. Redirect changes are not currently billed, but ScanSign.io reserves the right to implement billing for excessive or abusive changes in the future.

5. Passcode Security

Customers are responsible for safeguarding their passcode. If a passcode is believed to be compromised, ScanSign.io will only issue a reset upon verification through a business email domain or other approved means of identity confirmation. Unauthorized passcode use is the customer’s responsibility unless previously reported.

6. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel service at any time by emailing hello@scansign.io. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle unless specified otherwise. All signs must be returned within 30 days to ensure a deposit refund. No refunds will be issued for unused partial months.

7. Acceptable Use

ScanSign.io signs and redirect services are licensed solely for use by the registered business and for the specific, approved business purpose under which the signs were ordered. You may not repurpose, lend, sell, or otherwise assign the use of the signs or platform to any third party without prior written approval.

BEST Inc. reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently disable any sign or customer account found in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy. No refunds or deposit returns will be issued for violations that compromise the integrity or reputation of the ScanSign.io platform.

9. Changes to Terms

ScanSign.io reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the ScanSign.io platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
